The clean intonation of the notes is one of the great and lasting challenges on the double bass. The in-depth study of intonation therefore plays an important role. The knowledge of a few selected basic principles alone can significantly improve intonation in practical use through the exercises presented in this edition. The exercises are supplemented with playing pieces, which are accompanied by a piano voice, and with play-alongs, which are available for download.
