The potpourri »Samiel, erschein!« is an enjoyable run-through of Carl Maria von Weber's opera »Der Freischütz«, arranged by Stefan Schäfer. The piece begins with the slow introduction of the overture and ends up with the last bars of the final scene. In between the hunter's choir appears, farmers march in and certainly the devil is summoned.

Bass 1 should be experienced in thumb position. The medley is suitable both for quartet and bass orchestra. Duration: 6 minutes.
